At Crowell Heights Baptist Church (CHBC) we believe that going to church is NOT just about the building. The church is about the people and the people at CHBC are not about being religious, but about loving God.
The fact is, life can be difficult. Many people are hurting and need hope. But too often feel they will be judged and looked down on in the church, because they don't meet certain standards. At CHBC, we know that no matter what you've experienced in life, you can turn to God for hope, and we want to walk along side you on your journey.
CHBC is a church made up of imperfect people, not trying to be perfect, but simply seeking the hope that comes from the love of God. We will accept you and love you just the way you are, just like Jesus does. After all, Jesus did not demand perfection from his followers, he only asked that they love him and love others.
We've learned that God cares more about your future than about your past. If you have a desire for hope in a better future, or if you are searching for a higher purpose in life, you are invited to come to Crowell Heights Baptist Church. You will find acceptance here.
